Dr. Payne is an excellent primary care doctor. He asks insightful questions; is never "rushed" and answers all my questions. He is on the younger side but also seems quite experienced and informed with latest medical issues.

Couldn't agree more with the other posting! Dr. Payne is awesome - really listens to you. Some PCP just walk in & out as fast as they can... Dr. Payne takes time to answer questions and just generally listen to concerns that you have. Cannot recommend him more.

Dr. Matthew Payne is one of the best! He ALWAYS takes time to address any and all concerns. He and his team respond to emails in a timely manner. He is attentive to the patients needs and allows you time to process his medical recommendations.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Dr. Payne is fantastic. His low-key demeanor and easy approach means the world to people with doctor-office anxiety. I hope he is our doctor from here on.... His practice is simply awesome!

Dr. Payne is fantastic! He truly cares about his patients above all & listens intently. I feel like I have a visit worth my co-pay each time. I have to visit my PCP for regular visits for a condition, so it is VERY important for me to be able to feel comfortable w/ my PCP practice. I trust Dr. Payne's medical advice as he 'thinks outside the box' when creating treatment plans, ect. I feel treated more than just a number on the books. Never waited over 5 mins in for Dr. to come in. He spends a lot of time working with any Rx concerns and I feel "heard" voicing my concerns. To be honest, I feel like most doctors just stick to what is in a book but Dr. Payne really cares about investigating things to customize my treatment plan. He seems a lot more knowledgeable in medicine too. I've been on a medication for over 10 years or more but he is the 1st doctor to verbally tell me facts on it that no one else has mentioned, or if I know what I am experiencing, he validates it by facts.

This was my first visit w/Dr. Matthew Payne. I was extremely pleased with his medical knowledge and his professionalism. He listened to my medical history and asked pertinent questions. I appreciate the time he gave to me and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the medical care he provided. Nice to have an appointment where I didn’t feel rushed by the doctor or the staff. Thanks to Wake Primary Care in Holly Springs and Dr. Payne for outstanding service!!

Each visit with Dr Payne, I know will get quality care. He takes the time to listen to what is happening with me and make recommendations based on. My needs. Dr Payne takes into consideration my medical history, my medications and all of my concerns when we have a conversation and come up with a plan to tackle any of my questions. I appreciate the time he spends with me.

My first visit to Dr Payne was last week and I must say it was a very pleasant experience. He seemed very caring. Answered all my questions and was helpful in trying to resolve some issues I was having. I did not feel at all rushed and felt he was concerned and interested in what I had to say. The nurse was very nice as well. Happy to have found him for my PCP as sometimes it is difficult to find a doctor you feel is interested in your health and well being.

Dr. Payne is an amazing physician. He saw myself, my hubby, our children, and always had time to genuinely visit with, learn about and give personal advice to each. He is an absolute rarity in this day and age. The office procedures and staff, over the years, became more and more regimented, corporate, and frustrating, but it was always worth it to have such a great “family doc.”
